After some good results in Sweden, would be good to see Burton and Morgan make it into the main draw for a run of tournaments in Kuwait
Burton has an outside chance of making it as a DA for this first event. He is 27th Alt but 31 of those above him have this tournament as less than their No1 priority, plus 2 SEs to take into account.
Yeh Burton should make it in with low prioritys and results to be added on and same with Morgan and his title. This is why i said it in the first place lol

Results added on won't make any difference. It is your ranking at time of entry that counts. Should still get in though.
Got so excited about going to see the Brits at Scotstoun in Glasgow when I realised the weekend of finals I will be in London and haven't got any annual leave left so can't go in the week.
Me = gutted
For interest I emailed the organisers and this is what they sent:
Entry to the spectators stand is free on all days. The Mens singles final is scheduled for am on Saturday 22 October with the Womens singles final at 11 am on Sunday 23 October. Midweek play starts each day at 10 am.
Not actually a new partner for Jamie this year, he did partner Benneteau in Sweden in July. But given he has had 14 different tournament partners this year, probably he himself is losing track.
That's 14 different partners in 26 tournaments, 13 in 20 taking out Andy ( the last 3 tournaments won't be adding anyone new so maybe he's settliing down or I guess maybe you just start recycling )
"Pretty high ranked doubles player ( I play with my bro at times you know, you met him ? ) So stuck for a partner to get into some pretty nifty tournaments, call me Muzza Bro at xxxx."
I really do think it is time that as a highly ranked doubles player, hopefully still with real ambitions, that he was establishing a regular partnership again !

The snag must be "i'd love to set up a permanent partnership, but excuse me if I disappear for some of the top ranked stuff as younger bro does me a favour every now and again!"

Well I guess the question is does he want
a) His little bro to prop up his career and keep him top 40 or so.
b) To form a serious partnership and try and achieve something more than that
If b) means not playing with Andy (Olympics aside) the so be it.

I wonder if that is a major reason. You can see why it would put a prospective permanent partner off, though the flip side is that if it means he gets into events they (i.e. Jamie and permanent partner) wouldn't have been able to play together otherwise, gets Jamie's ranking up and perhaps makes it easier for them to get into events together in future.
If I were Jamie though, I'd want to go with RJA's option b), even if it meant playing a lot less often with little brother.
