Yes, Jamie was ranked WR 392 on 25th April. But since then apart from winning the London Cumberland future at the start of August the big difference has been him consistently winning more than one challenger round, with 1 semi, 3 quarters and 2 last 16s in his last 6 challengers. He'd previously been on a long run of not getting past the last 16 in challengers.
It is a good turnaround and Jamie himself has said he is much happier with his form.
Jamie is down to play tomorrow in both singles and doubles.
He and Dimitar Kutrovsky (BUL) play (3) Romain Jouan & Fabrice Martin (FRA)...Martin retired at 4-1 down in the first set of his singles to day though, so a decent chance of a w/o.
