sock won the mixed in the end, with Oudin. Chance for boggo to get revenge for that futures loss right at the start of the year too.
given the strength of the top 4 seeds here compared with the rest Boggo's done all right to avoid one till the QF's, although it would have to be Querry he gets!
still i think this is big sam's first match since ward at queens so he might be a bit rusty, even so don't seey any of his 1st/2nd rd opponents troubling him. in some cases you feel it may have been better to draw him in the 1st rd b4 he has a chnace to play himself in.

I'd add more emoticons ... Kudla/Sock isn't exactly the draw one would want either. Wonder how many Grand Slam champions have played the Tulsa Challenger after their title. Speaks well for Sock that he's honouring his commitment to his local tournament.

Without going into what level of importance one would give to a mixed doubles slam triumph, we are talking about Sock ( doubles rank 555 and singles rank 557 ) and Kudla ( doubles rank 428 and singles rank 329 ), two players who as far as I can see haver rarely played competitively together and certainly not for a while.
Could maybe add an "in shock" emotion beside Sock's name, but otherwise...

I did actually consider a , but only because I find the prospect of "cuddling a sock" rather distasteful! I think I'd better get my coat...
