Lexington is drivable for me, 2 1/2 hours anyway, hopefully I will make it down there this year, last year I had too much going on at work. Be great to see one (or more) of our boys go deep.

Good to see Laura down for a few 25Ks. A consistent run of 3-5 matches in a row will do wonders for her fitness levels and movement.

Right now in Southern Indiana it is in the mid 90s with 100% humidity which translates to a heat index of about 115. Kentucky is south of here and possibly a bit hotter. My son works outdoors as a lifeguard and they are restricting them to 2 hours as so many are getting sick in the heat. It should break for next week according to the forecast but it is not the greatest weather for tennis!

QWCs to Eden Silva, Lauren McMinn, Lolade Ogungbesan & Georgia Craven although it's possible that 3 of these will get into qualies without the QWC.

Dancevic's withdrawl means James will be 2nd seed for Lexington barring any higher ranked WC's. Must be the 1st time in his career he is top 2 seed for a challenger

Pospisil just retired in Granby so he may be top seed!
