Both Brit were due to play on Monday, but the crazy OoP shpws (all in local time) one doubles matc hat 10 am, nothing else starting until 7.30 pm and Dan Cox starting two matches later not before 9.30 pm (probably not before 10.30 pm in practice) with another doubles match to follow that. So not surprising that no results have come through yet!

Josh has a shocking 1-10 record in Europe this year (the 1 being his win against the other Josh in Eastbourne qualifying), but this contrasts hugely with his 18-7 record in Asia and Africa, where he has reached two Finals and two more SFs.

Looking a bit deeper, outside Europe the only player in the top 400 whom Josh has faced is Dan Cox, who was ranked 328 when Josh beat him in China F1, his first tournament of the year. He also has a 3-2 record outside Europe against players ranked in the 400s. The remaining 19 opponents he has faced in Asia/Africa were all ranked outside the top 500 and he has a 14-5 record against them.
Within Europe, half of the players he has faced were in the top 400 (W 0 L 5), he has played three opponents in the 400s (W 1 L 2) and three opponents outside the top 500 (W 0 L 3 - they include losses to under-ranked juniors Liam & Oli plus yesterday's loss)

Yes, Dan has a lot of points to defend from July onwards ( 120 in his current counting total ).
But at least he has earned a lot more points in the first half of this year ( 58 so far ) than he had earned to the end of week 26 last year ( 10 ) so will still have some base.
He goes into the second half of the year, currently ranked WR 273 ( and should rise further before he has any points to defend ) compared to where he ended up after week 26 last year ( WR 801 )
