The draw, promised for today, has finally been announced:

 

R1:  (WC) Jonny Marray & Anne Keothavong vs Andreas Seppi & Alberta Brianti (ITA/ITA)

R1:  (WC) Ross Hutchins & Heather Watson vs Marcelo Melo & Rennae Stubbs (BRA/AUS)

R1:  (WC) Jamie Delgado & Mel South vs Florian Mayer & Tamira Paszek (GER/AUT)

R1:  Marc López & Arantxa Parra (ESP/ESP) vs (WC) Colin Fleming & Jos Rae

R1:  Igor Andreev & Maria Kirilenko (RUS/RUS) vs Jamie Murray & Jarmila Gajdosova (AUS)

R1:  Dustin Brown & Vania King (GER/USA) vs (WC) Ken Skupski & Elena Baltacha

 

Plenty to look forward to there & they've all avoided a seeded pair - probably because all the seeds have a bye in the first round! wink  Elena may have given up doubles to protect her back, but she obviously couldn't resist a bit of a giggle in the mixed! smile

No Sarah Borwell? Odd. Her twittering indicates to me that she'll move into coaching next season.

 

They may have all avoided seeds but there are some seriously good doubles players in there (stubbs, king, brianti etc)

Looks as though Jamie & Mel will be taking on a pair of alternates, as they're now scheduled to play Carlos Berlocq & Maria Kondratieva (ARG/RUS) in the fourth match on Court 6.  Ironically, it will be Jamie's second encounter of the day with Berlocq, as he & Jonny M play him & Ricardo Mello (BRA) in the first round of the men's doubles & the second match on that very same court! disbelief
