Interesting omissions here - of the top 20 Brits:

- Muzz isn't playing (obviously)

- I assume Wardy has a MD WC if he wants one

- I've heard that only one of the Dans has a WC and also that it's Evo, but if it is only one of them, it's a bit odd that the other isn't in this draw, so perhaps another place came free at the last moment

- of the 8 Brits we know to have Wimbledon QWCs, Milton, Golding & Morgan are playing qualifying here (looking at the draw, I imagine they'll be free by Wimbledon Q sign-in or otherwise very happy, unless they are delayed because of rain) but Baker, Boggo, Smethurst, A Ward & Broady are not playing here

- the only other absentees from within the GB top 20 are Morgan Phillips (who may have decided to return to the clay, perhaps) and Colin Fleming - the latter omission a bit odd given that he tweeted "Arrived in Eastbourne ahead of the tourny here. Not a bad view from my hotel room! Singles tmrow... " a few hours ago

fingers crossed for a big eaton run this tournie, really missed an opputunity the past few weeks

im gonna predict slabba to qualify here from that draw

 technical glitch I'm sure - the match has disappeared entirely now

Oli fought hard to save 5 breakpoints in various games and retrieve a minibreak in the tiebreak but Copil eventually took the first set 7-6(6) Currently 3-2* in the second

Marcus has traded sets: 4-6 6-4 2-1*

Matt lost (6-3 6-2 I think)

Willis just missed BP's

With regards to main draw WCs, Ward can get a SE here can't he? So that could have freed up another WC for another Brit.
