R32: Stefan Sterland-Markovic (GBR) WR 1521 vs. Arturs Kazijevs (LAT) UNR
Kazijevs is in as a DA despite being unranked in one of this week's crazy weak Futures.
Good chance of a point for SSM, but probably no more, as (2) Folie would be his most likely R2 opponent.
Isaac Stoute was in qualies here (in his first senior tournament?), and went straight to the FQR in a draw of 13! Unfortunately he lost 6-3 4-6 6-4 to Michael-Ray Pallares Gonzalez (DOM).
L32: Stefan Sterland-Markovic (GBR) WR 1527 lost to Arturs Kazijevs (LAT) UNR by 6-1 7-6(8) Pity, players at Stefan's level in the rankings really need to take advantage of draws as weak as this the few times they come along.
GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!GB top 25s (ranks, whereabouts) & stats - http://www.britishtennis.net/stats.html
The first-round singles opponents are playing as partners in the doubles:
R1: Isaac Stoute & Radim Urbanek (CZE) UNR defeated Emre Aydin & Emre Ozlen [system apparently won't accept ASCII code for upper-case "ö" ) (TUR/TUR) UNR by 3 & 4
R1: Arturs Kazijevs (LAT) & Stefan Sterland-Markovic UNR defeated (3) Barkin Yalçinkale & Anil Yüksel (TUR/TUR) WR 1919 by 2 & 4
QF: Isaac Stoute & Radim Urbanek (CZE) UNR vs Arturs Kazijevs (LAT) & Stefan Sterland-Markovic UNR

Another Turkish future?!?
Yes, they've now had twice as many Futures already this year as they've got players in the ATP singles rankings!
