The boys took the second set by 6-4 & with it, needless to say, the match! smile The match to decide whom they will face in the QF is on court at the moment:  the second seeds, Christopher Kas & Alexander Peya (GER/AUT), or the French pair, Jérémy Chardy & that long-standing Brit-basher, Stéphane Robert.  The Frogs lead in the first-set tie-break by *3-2.

And 'twill be the second seeds, who eventually prevailed by 7-6(6) 6-7(1) [11-9].  At the risk of jinxing the boys' chances, not to mention looking too far ahead, the Brazilian top seeds, Franco Ferreiro & André Sà, went out in straight sets today to the local WCs, Lojda & Vesely...

This is the point in the week when I start ditching the draw sheets I print off so eagerly/hopefully at the start of the week:  the second seeds were too strong on this occasion & the boys lost by 3 & 3. cry  Should've kept my big mouth shut... ashamed
