Unless I'm not looking properly it appears the Murray bros have pulled out of the doubles. I'm sad about that but it's probably sensible for Andy's elbow.

Laura is still entered for Charlottesville w/c 25/04 but was never entered for Dothan w/c 18/04 LordBrown.

It looks to me that following a couple of weeks rest after the Asian trip to recover from the stomach muscle injury that she is ready to go again. This looks like a change from the original plan which was to play a couple of European events on the red clay before turning her attention to grass. This looks quite wise as her American trip last year was quite successful, with the green clay being easier to play on than the red stuff.

If Andy does play in Barcelona he will meet J-C Ferrero in R2 as he's beaten X Malisse 64 62

not to be - Andy has withdrawn and will rest for 4-5 days before practising again. Disappointing but would rather he misses this one than either of the Masters or RG. Does he get a zero score or does sense prevail and injury means that he loses no points as long as he does some promotional work?

I mentioned this on the Barcelona thread in Andy's section. Djokovic avoided a penalty in Monte Carlo by doing promotional work, but then he lives there. If Andy decides to scuttle off home he would no doubt get a penalty, which however would only be his Valencia 45 points lost.
