It seems as if Johanna didn't make it for some reason, all very odd there were only 18 players in the Qualifying tournament despite scores of players in the Alternatives section.

My god, this field has been absolutely shreded compared to what was first announced. Her Q2 opponent is unranked and has a career high of 1020 five years ago. Stephanie Dubois (CAN) WR 151 should be her FQR opponent.

Haha, on the tournie website it says 'almost half the top 15 in the world are expected to be here'. During Indian Wells? Really?? Methinks someone did not do their planning very well...

Well, if you look at it lexically, half of 15 is 1 and 0 is almost 1, so that looks accurate enough to me!


p.s. Has there ever been a better +H hotel for an ITF tournament? They aren't usually $2bn resort hotels.
