cut off is 6 weeks before which is why he wasn't ranked high enough at the time

Somewhat positive news about Laura is that she hasn't withdrawn yet from the Chinese tournament, early days still obviously.

Article from Dicko of the Mail outlining Laura's playing schedule. It appears to me to be already out of date as Laura has withdrawn from the first of the four events that the article refers to. A picture posted on twitter would also suggest that her injured leg is still not 100% healed. Fingers crossed she can play all these 3 events, get some decent match practice and of course pick up a valuable haul of ranking points.
