In Cox's section, 7th seed Bhambri won his match 6-3, 6-1 then subsequently gave his potential QF opponent a walkover, very strange! Good news for Cox tho i guess!

Bhambri mystery has been revealed. He's been called up to the Indian team to face Serbia after Bhupathi & Paes both withdrew.
A shame for Oli, but winning three rounds of Q at a US $15K shows this is the correct level for him to be playing at. I am sure that more hard work will reap rewards.
L16: (1) Dan Cox WR 320 beat (Q) Marcos Giron WR 1140 by 7-6(4) 6-4
QF: (1) Dan Cox WR 320 v Erik Crepaldi (ITA) WR 671 (=CH)
Crepaldi got thrashed 3&0 by Marcus Willis in 2009 but a year later he was good enough to beat Dan Smethurst in 3 sets. His last two tournaments were Croatia F1 and F2, in both of which he lost his first qualifying match in straight sets.
