Thought I'd head over here and see whats happening. A certain other site seems to have forgotten that there's more than one british player!
Anyway enough bithching. The names Grant, professional musician (allegedly) with North Sea Gas. Been following tennis for years, but really got into things a couple of years ago. Get along to most of the tourneys in Scotland, especally the first couple of days

I think that might be more our fault than theirs - I used to post quite a lot on the AM.com British tennis thread (the highlights from here, if you like) and I know other people from here did the same (maybe still do) but I've been much busier recently and hardly go there except when pick 'ems are on and others from here may have done the same - I don't check there enough to know.
In addition, many of the people who used to be interested in British tennis in general on AM.com post here as well and/or follow my gbtennis twitter, which is much easier to use (and seems to get a wider range of people interested) than re-posting stuff on AM.com. That doesn't mean I've gone off the AM.commers, I hasten to add, I'm still friendly with the same people there as I always was.
Of course, you could argue that the British tennis thread there dying without our input means most of them were only ever interested in one player (or perhaps two) in the first place, but still, it's called AM.com and we're BT.net (in spirit, even if no longer in name!), so that's fair enough - the clues are in the initials.
Anyway, enough rambling from me ... the important thing is, it's good to see you here! You'll probably notice one of the main differences is that we're more into play-fighting than cat-fighting, if you get my drift.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
I originally came here now a few years ago mainly because of my interest in Andy.
Yes, I liked watching tennis and followed it a bit but really just the big tournaments and hardly knew at all other even top 5 or 6 British tennis players. I saw them appearing at Wimbledon and never knew anything really about them the rest of the year.
Nowadays I'm hooked on British tennis progress as a whole and will argue ( sorry discuss - as Steven says it's more that type of board ) say GB 20th ranked men and womne and up and coping juniors with actually some knowledge.
So. you'll certainly get plenty time here to follow and discuss British players in general.
I live in Edinburgh and really should get along at least to Scottish tournaments which I say I'm going to then don't manage it.
By the way : "professional musician (allegedly) with North Sea Gas" - are they linked or are the musicianship and North Sea Gas mutually exclusive ?.
