from Sean's Twitter: 'Just took a win first round bangers. 4 in the third. Credit to my opponent. He played really well but I managed to scrounge a break at 4-4.'
Good to see the tournament offer wild cards to talented players like Marko Djokovic.
How odd is it that the three guys who are in with a chance of making AO qualies, but are not guaranteed (i.e. Coxy, Evo and Baker), are skipping the last two weeks of the challenger season. I'm not saying that skipping AO is a bad move, but it's not very likely that three good hard court players want to skip a big money+big experience event, is it?
P.S. I am not including Bloomers since he is injured (I think).
Hopefully bloomers can recover, he;s had a lot of back problems hasn't he and they do take ages to get over, of course i had 1st hand experience recently watching Boggo try and come back and there;s very little you can do save Phyiso and yoga etc.
hopefully if Rich can recover well over Xmas there's no reason to believe he cant have a good 2011, if he can get some decent points b4 Newport at least.

I may be wrong (my Finnish is non-existent), but I think there was some technical problem preventing the live scoreboard from working today. If so, let's hope it's resolved tomorrow, as Delgo & Jonny M are on in the first match on one of the "outer" courts.
Looks to have been a close one, but at least the gods favoured a Brit for a change. A day off tomorrow while their future opponents battle it out. Fingers crossed for Jamie and Jonny.
QF: (1) Johan Brunström (SWE) & Ken Skupski vs Dustin Brown & Martin Emmrich (GER - though the ATP site persists in describing him as Jamaican! - /GER)
