Cav wins 6-0 6-2. easier than you would expect, love to know what has been the catalyst for her improved performances over the last couple of weeks, not that I'm complaining.

Rodina will be tough. Having watched her SF in Tashkent online it looks like she is a fesity counterpuncher, but hopefully Naomi will have too much firepower for her.

If I'm not mistaken Luke Milligan is in Minsk with Naomi.  I assume he is her new coach?    http://twitter.com/Milliganini

Great win for Cav, something's working just now smile  And yes, unless the goalposts shift a fair bit, as they sometimes do, she should be back in the top 200 with that win.

She has nothing to defend the rest of the year so there must now be a very good chance that GB will have 5 women ending the year in the top 200 for the first time since 1998.  And Laura just outside champing at the bit for 2011  smile

Might as well win another couple of matches. like Heather did, just to do it in real style

This maybe the catalyst for Cav's sudden improvement in form, Luke had been coaching Annie K for a while before this.

Nigel Sears was coaching her in Luxembourg.
