Week 44 Futures - Futures F4 ($15K) - Ramat Hasharon, Israel

L32: (5) Jamie Baker WR 349 v (Q) Almog Mashiach (ISR) WR 820

Milton plays at 07.30 GMT on Monday (with the winner of his match likely to face top seed Goffin WR 237 in R2), the rest presumably on Tuesday.

The other seeds in the other Brits' sections, familiar either as a Boggo nemesis or as players who have grabbed lots of points from GB Futures in the past, are:

Baker - (3) Okun WR 321
Goodall - (4) Fabbiano WR 331
Cox - (2) Burquier WR 272

I said last week that Goodall needed a kind draw to help him end his dismal run and sneaking in as the 8th seed was obviously a big help. A lucky loser followed by a qualifier or a wild card is about as good as it gets.

Being the top seed in the doubles (with Amir Weintraub of Israel) didn't do him much good:  they lost to the unranked Israelis, Gilad Ben Zvi & Saar Steele, by 6-4 4-6 [10-12]! bleh

Going to be tough for both Baker and Goodall although hopefully Cox can get through his match. Chettar is an 18 year old though and took out the 2nd seed in the last round so may well be a talented Junior

Fabbiano beat Goodall 2 weeks ago in Glasgow, so time for revenge?

Any where near his best I would expect Goodall to beat Fabbiano but at the moment he is no where near his best.

Chettar's win against Burquier today was the win of his life - he hasn't shown form like this ever before, indeed Burquier beat him in straight sets the last time they met. So hopefully Burquier had an off day and Coxy won't find it too tricky.

Great to see the good week continuing here smile.gif even if not in Greece.

In the 'race' for year-end GB no. 3, Boggo has stole a march on the rest this week with his exploits in Eckental but it's now incredibly close for GB no. 4.

2010 points only, top 10, actual current GB ranking in brackets - note if still in this week:

5180 Muzza (1)
224 Wardy (2)
140 Boggo (3) - in Eckental QF

116 Bloomers (4)
114 Evo (5)
113 Cox (7) - in ISR SF
112 Baker (6) - in ISR SF

97 Milton (8)
93 Goodall (9) - in ISR SF

68 Wardinator (11) - in TUR SF
