Link to an article that Tara has signed a clothing deal with adidas, a bit of hyperbole in there, but still encouraging signs that Tara is determined to take her tennis career seriously and take the actions needed to give her a good chance of reaching her full potential.
Good news, that should be helpful for funding and the training will be very useful for her transition to seniors. As someone who in the past, probably criticised her a bit unfairly I would like to say well done. She is an Adidas girl now.
The Adidas gear will look even better with trophies in her hand and it sounds like she is putting in the hours to get them.
PS What has happened to Fran Stephenson? You don't hear that much about her at the moment. Does she have injuries? The same probably applies to Lisa Whybourn as I have not heard her name in a little while.
My apologies if this has been covered already.

Ha ha, just a bit of hyperbole Love how there is no distinction made between senior and junior tournaments.
Tara has certainly done very well this year to reinvigorate her career, and all the best to her.
Re chavkev's post, not sure about Fran, but Lisa was certainly out injured and has just recently started back but understandably without any real initial success. She should be in Barnstaple next week.

Fran has been injured and Lisa has just returned from injury.
Thank you philwrig, I appreciate it. It is a shame because they both have good potential and injuries during the formative stages of your career can be a real stumbling block.
Good to see Tara getting the win even if it's by retirment. It would be interesting to see how she gets on against Pliskova, assuming the Czech also wins her first round match.
