Fitzy was the 3rd alternate and I'm guessing that Ben Pritchard (who was 2nd alternate) probably scraped in as a DA - if not, then he accounts for one of the WCs. Brits below Ben and Fitzy on the entry list with ATP or national rankings were:

In Q draw - 4 BRASSINGTON, Kyle GBR 1256= 1
In Q draw - 5 GABB, Richard GBR 1343= 1
Poss WC? - 6 STERLAND-MARKOVIC, Stefan GBR 1429= 2
In Q draw - 9 HEWITT, Ashley GBR 1756= 1
In Q draw - 13 O'LEARY, David GBR 48 1
Poss WC? - 15 EL MENSHAWY, Ahmed GBR 139 1
In Q draw - 18 SIDAWAY, Daniel GBR 139 1
In Q draw - 20 $ ALLEN, Tom GBR 244 1
In Q draw - 21 THORNTON-BROWN, Adam GBR 244 1
In Q draw - 22 BUGBY, Miles GBR 244 1
In Q draw - 23 BURTON, Lewis GBR 244 1
Poss WC? - 24 TUTU, Marshall GBR 373 1
Poss WC? - 25 SOULSBY, Eamon GBR 373 1
In Q draw - 26 MCGRATH, Daniel GBR 373 1
Poss WC? - 27 OAKLEY, Keelan GBR 373 1

Thanks Steven.  I've got a novel idea, though.  Could the LTA maybe tell folk who the WCs are  hmm.gif

I assume they do actually tell the players concerned! LOL

They do sometimes post who the WCs are going to be on their site, but it seems very random and more often than not, they don't.

It would be good if they could post results too, similar to @oztennisresults.

Flippin heck !     I thought that was a bit much until I just looked back to Dan's last match before his break and realised there's more  disbelief.gif   i.e. that Dan's last match before his break was at the Frinton future in July where he lost in Round 1 to an err certain Richard Gabb.  That was also Richard's last senior tournament before the last 3 weeks.

So that's, for each of them, 4 tournaments in a row that they have been drawn successively in L32, L16, L32 and L32.

Although Richard did win that one in July, I would imagine he's now like  -  Give us a break !!   Unless he enjoys the challenge  hmm.gif

I make it 331776 to 1, if Dan was seeded and Richard not at each tournament (24 to the power 4)

OK, I'm a pedant....

(but I don't know how to allow for the L16....)
