Yes, Ahmed is a very aggressive all rounder who was British number 1 junior for a period last year, he has had his best results in doubles and has an awesome return of serve. A very good front runner in a match and someone I would say is nowhere near to fulfilling their potential and talent which he has in bundles, would like to see him do well but attitude and mental toughness does not always allow it.

I watched him at the Futures events in Bath in March. I was very impressed, and have been looking out for his results since then. However, he hasn't managed to get that main draw win yet. Maybe this time?
There are 21 Brits in the MD, 1 less than last week. Richard's w/d means that Andrew Gregory gets seeded (in fact all 6 players in the GB top 25 who entered are seeded) and he's drawn an unranked WC. Given his recent luck though, it had to be the one people have been bigging up on this thread, i.e. el Menshawy!
All 4 WCs have drawn other WCs or qualifiers - (WC) Burton v (WC) Tutu, (WC) Martin v (Q) Oakley, (WC) Hewitt v (Q) Marfia, giving them all a decent chance of taking advantage.
Fitzy has drawn our old DC friend Tuna Altuna, aka Yellowfin (well did you see the top of his hair at DC? ) which isn't too great but better than drawing a seed.
Main draw with this week's rankings coming soon ...

(*) once again, Keelan beat the qualifying seed in the FQR who got the LL place in the main draw - let's hope for the sake of seagull's club's quest to get a world ranked player that it isn't the LL who wins R1 and Keelan who loses R1 again!
