L128: Elena Baltacha WR 54 v Petra Martic CRO WR 88 - 4 pm BST on Monday

The H2H is 0-1, the Wimbledon 2010 loss obviously. Amazingly, the Croatian is 0-5 since then!

L128: Anne Keothavong WR 145 v Yung-Jan Chan TPE WR 76

H2H: never met but both playing Bronx 100K+H ITF this week.

Can't say fairer than that with the draws. I'm sure Bally will be up for revenge, and if she gets through that Kvitova will be under a lot of pressure to defend her points from last year.

Cetainly cannot complain about those draws for potential first 2 matches and as for the potential 3rd matches wouldn't it be tremendous if they were both in the L32 with the expected opposition !

I'm not sure re Muzza since the men's first round top half is played over Tuesday and Wednesday.  Asked further re this in the Andy Murray section.

Both 50/50 matches maybe Bally/Chan slight favourites so fingers crossed we'll have 2 through to second round.

Bally struggling for form on the summer hardcourts in North America as per usual, fine during the spring at Indian Wells. Anne playing much better and hopefully the hip and knee will hold up.
