Sadly, Andrew Gregory's 'now I've become a Brit' jinx seems to be getting worse. disbelief

I guess Smyrgala's score against Slabba tomorrow will give us more of an idea if he's a bit ofa 'ringer' with a ranking that low. Bad news for Dan Cox too

but Ben Pritchard took full advantage of his luck after (6) Skoloudik pulled out.

Extremely peculiar

Can only imagine was Cox vs Koniusz scheduled early on today, maybe too late to move Koniusz when the original 8th seed withdrew ?

I guess Ben Pritchard was the one to benefit, meeting a lucky loser instead of a seed.

If they had managed to move Koniusz, Dan would have had that LL that Ben just about coped with followed by an unranked Polish WC.

Dan not having much luck at the moment

Really useful, making someone a seed and then not moving him. I bet that Koniusz was thrilled to have the honour of having a number in parenthesis next to his name.

Dumb scheduling as usual for Coxy. Should have gone to North America, but there wasn't much option in Europe, I guess.
