New UK Challenger

I see on the latest ATP calender they have a challenger listed in Welwyn Garden City in November.

I imagine this will be in Gosling where Tara Moore (and Timoa Babos) are based?

yeah I saw this, not too far from London so I may head up there with Alex.

a few of the end of season challenger, inc this one, are listed as IS, I'm not sure if this is a mistake as i though all the carpet events where ruled out, save Belgrade which got an exemption, as the ATP are trying to do away with the super quick surfaces. apparently that's why there is no kolding either.

That's great - only about 15 mins from me. Perhaps I should set up a B & B for a week!

Is this actually a new Challenger for us or just a venue swap? I always think we don't have enough Challenger events in this country, particularly when you look and see the never ending sweep of Italian and Spanish clay court Challenger events!

I'd like 2 nights. Do you cater for vegetarians?

Well, moving in the right direction, though the Scottish border is still a very long way off.

When exactly is this? When I looked on the ATP site I could only see Challengers till the end of October. It's bound to be in the first half of the month as I realise that I shall be away then. Fingers crossed I'm wrong.
