James plays Fish on the main court not before 23.30 BST on Monday with Hutch and Flemski last on the other two courts.
I noticed the Haitian Olivier Sajous on the OoP and it turns out it is the same Haitian that Tim Bradshaw beat in Laguna Niguel qualifying last year. He's 23 and ranked 1051 (= CH) but was his country's star player in Puerto Rico the week before last, winning 4/5 singles and 3/3 doubles to help gain Haiti promotion to Americas Group II (i.e. notionally the same level as us) for the first time since 2004 and this seems to have given him an enormous confidence boost - he's already beaten Santiago Gonzalez WR 172 and comperehensively beaten former world no. 55 Andre Sa in Atlanta to make the fqr!
We can only hope our DC hero (who was clearly Wardy for beating Ilhan) will feel equally inspired ...

Lovely to hear the "back story" about Sajous, Steven. Thank you for that. Hope he does well.
The doubles section is a bit odd, isn't it. Very few well-ranked teams, but a variety of potential banana skins in the new pairings. I was rather wishing that Erlich/Tipsarevic weren't the first round opponents . . . but Fish/Roddick, Huss/Sa, Kohlmann/Schuettler etc could be interesting also. How lovely to be able, nonetheless, to be confident in GB's seeded team!
Today's scheduled matches are as follows (Mon 7/19):
Match #1: Igor Kunitsyn (RUS) vs. Brendan Evans (USA) Match #2: Michael Russell (USA) vs. Benjamin Becker (GER) Match #3: Marty Fish (USA) vs. James Ward (GBR) Match #4: John Isner (USA) / James Blake (USA) vs. Robby Ginepri (USA) / Ryan Sweeting (USA)

Match is on Livescore and Bet365 is up and running.
Haven't checked if Ken is raring to go with the radio comms but I'm guessing he'll be a bit pro-Fish and come up with some interesting pronunciation of James Ward.
Lol - hadn't bargained for what the on-court introducing bloke could do with the words James Ward.

OMG there's now a jingle before you get to hear Ken's dulcet tones, followed by a Hollywood announcer:
"let's bring in your announcer, the guy who not only lost to John McEnroe, he lost to hundreds of other guys as well, the one and only, the voice of tennis, Ken Thomas"
