From the OoP on the ATP site (as usual for a joint tournament, this appears far more quickly than any info in the women's section of ITF or TE), it looks like Natasha Starling has qualified and will play unranked Pia Rygh in R1 - Rygh was an alternate for qualifying but didn't play in it so probably got a late MD WC.

Rigozzi and St Hill are also due to play in the main draw on Monday, which suggests that Brown and Ince lost to them, but there's a small chance they might be in the main draw too if they got LL places or LL places are why their FQR opponents are there.

Lisa Whybourn (likely to be the top seed), Nicola George and Samantha Vickers are DAs here too but they must be in the half of the draw that's not playing on Monday.

Lisa should be looking to bag this title in reality. She needs to keep up her momentum and keep climbing.

25ks only from now on I imagine?

Murray,

speaking to Lisa last week, she says she will not concentrate on only $25,000 - she will continue to do some $10,000 events as well.

It's a sensible, grounded approach, imo. It should means she has a balance between stretching herself but also keeping that winning feeling (hopefully) while she gets used to the new level she'll be playing at.

Pity, and I see Larriere went on to a convinvcing win in the semi.

Yes, re earlier, it does  seem sensible for Lisa to continue to play quite a number of 10Ks.  The 50 points from Wimbledon qualifying will give her a big rankings boost, but to some extent she is still making her way in the game and in 10Ks has yet only made one final.  More matches and success at that level can't do any harm.
