What is this week Week 27 of which you speak? I thought the tennis calendar ended after Wimbledon until next year.

SG do you have a updated newport list, have there been any withdrawals. i know Mahut got a WC so that moves alex 1 spot closer.

No updates yet - not sure that does move Alex one closer as if cut off gets to 12th alt they will put Mahut in direct and free up a wild card

thats a very good point which i had forgtten about. it may depend if they have someone else suitable for the WC or they could do a wimby special!

Malisse and Tursunov are still in mixed doubles

Obviously it would be great for Boggo to make the cut (I think with the SE's cleared and Malisse having apparently pulled out as well, he's 9th alternate), but if he could be a top seed in qualies then the extra 12 points from that would help his ranking, as he would be expected to come through it.

Looks like Slabba is playing in France on clay rather than the Ilkley grass.
