Queens & Wimbly 2010 Wildcards

Any ideas folks? The full entry list is now out for Queens, but no word on the WC's yet... or the qualies! (*shakes fist* gah, info hasn't been the same since they subsumed the Queens website into the LTA website!).  And Wimbly?

Just seen this on Tennishead - Jamie Murray and Laura have applied for a WC for Wimby mixed doubles

Is there still no word yet on this, even with Queens so close?!

There's unlikely to be any word on GB WCs for Queen's (if any ...) until the middle of the week before (the 2nd week of RG) and unlikely to be details of any GB WCs for Wimby until Queen's week.

Ancic has dropped out of French Open, so guess he's a doubt for Queens.

i maybe remembering it completely wrongly, but i think when he said he dropped out he said the grasscourt season was his main aim...

Thanks steven. It would be nice if we had a bit more notice though. Or it would be for people who have to make travel arrangements. Thankfully living where I do, I can pretty much decide to go the night before to Queens or Wimbly and still have no problems getting there and getting in. But this is what I was saying about Challengers and Futures - for people who have a long distance to travel, even abroad, posting such information at the very last minute is not conducive.

Confused about Ancic.  Having accepted a WC to Queen's, I read last week that he's a doubt for the Davis Cup (post Wimbledon) due to back problems.  Unfortunately I can't now find the reference to that newspaper article.  So, is he fit for Queen's or not?
