Haven't seen Katarina's name around for a long while, has she been injured?

Well she was off from February last year till July and then played sporadically in between then and November, playing the events in Turkey with Amanda C (she actually retired in a match against her in Antalya-Belek 6).

I thought she'd played an event this year but apparently not... She might have pulled out of that so I'm guessing this is her first match on return from some sort of injury/problem.

She played two matches in qualifying in Antalya in March against unranked players, winning one and losing one.

Ah, thanks. I was thrown by Peter's no. 4 seeding against her name in the results - I wondered how I'd managed to miss that she was seeded on the original table, but I was in such a rush this evening that I didn't check back to the draw.

Sorry to create confusion. I had a list of entries before the draw. At that time she was 4th in the Q draw. In the event she moved up to the main draw and I forgot to remove the 4.

Don't worry, I'm all too well aware how easy it is to do stuff like that.

If I'd looked twice and seen the rankings of the two players, or even just assumed I'd got the original table correct, it would have been obvious it wasn't right.
