Darryl Hale Sr. has a career going back to 1991 (in doubles). He last played in 2000. He has a 0/10 record at singles, though he once won a doubles match in the Ivory Coast. He has also played two years in Wimbledon doubles qualifying (in '92 & '93)

Or he might be an idiot. Which would cover all of the above anyway.
So, did both of the Darryl Hale's hurt themselves on the way to the court? Did both not want to play against a friend? Did they arrive late on separate days (Darryl Sr. had a bye to R2)? Or is it a case of option 4. Ooh, conspiracy theories...
