I don't know anything about Laura Collins, but this seems a fantastic opportunity to pick up a WR point.

According to her profile, she's played 9 tournaments since 2007 and only won one round of a 10k qualifier. She also played qualifiers for this tournament last year.

P.s. And what an awesome surname her opponent has - I can just imagine the Judoon chanting it!

Aww... but they get luvly little saches instead when it runs out ( and it seemed to run out again very soon after a supply arrive, errr slight underestimate ! ) which should really do the job, NOT.  Bally's got a nice picture of one.  Pretty shocking.

What with this and Lisa's tweets from Kazakhstan, maybe the LTA ought to invest some of their millions in traveling chefs!

Much better performance from Naomi in the FQR. Don't know what happened against Nagle but glad to see that was just a small hiccup in her performance level.

I must admit I am not sure about long trips to tournaments for just one/two weeks because it must be very difficult to be at your best given such a short preparation period. On the flipside the fields are often very weak so ranking points can be easily gained. Naomi getting cheap ranking points for qualifying against very weak opposition. Just missing the main draw cutoff on this occasion was definitely a plus.
