Week 14 - ATP 250 ($450,000) - Gran Prix Hassan II - Casablanca, Morocco- Clay

Flemski appear to have a gift of a 1st round here, then potentially the 3rd seeds.

Its clay and, Colin has been injured so I don't expect too much here but, do any think this partnership peaked last year?  Were they riding the crest of a wave that they will find difficult to maintain or will they move up further? There rise was not dis-similar to when Jamie Murray frst surged up the rakings as Stetch & Booty (Eric is currently top 30 btw), I just hope there isn't a similar fall.

Theyre both much better servers and more athletic than Jamie Murray

The match before Flemski has just finished.

Should be straightforward, their opposition (Chaki/Ouahabi) are just futures players.

Ouhabi recieved a wild card into all four recent challengers in Morocco in singles and doubles, and won just one doubles match in all.

Just hope they can quickly adjust to the clay, and Flembo's shoulder is OK.

After that slow start Flemski have completely turned it around and have taken the first set 6-3, breaking Ouahabi's serve twice on sudden death deuce.

And now a second break to make it *4-1. Should be a formality from here.

That was quick! I left it with them just having won the first set, and by the time I managed to wrest my computer away from my daughter, they had won!

The third seeds in the QF it is (& a minimum of 45 points in the bag wink ):  they beat Allegro & Stan the Man by 7-6(9) 7-5 a short while ago.

For the record, the top seeds, Lukasz Kubot & Oliver Marach, are out, beaten by another pair of "bloody Poles" (Bednarek & Kowalczyk) by 6-1 0-6 [10-12].  Weird scoreline! disbelief
