L32: Amanda Carreras WR 423 v (WC) Mina Saygi (TUR) UNR (aged 16)
The winner is likely to face (3) Tereza Mrdeza (CRO) WR 284, who beat Anna Smith 4-6 6-3 7-6(3) in Stockholm qualifying but has lost her four matches since in straight sets, including a 3 & 2 loss to WR 683 here last week.

QF: CARRERAS, Amanda (GBR) 423 v KOCH-BENVENUTO, Andrea (CHI) 7 360
K-B has not been having a good time in Antalya - losing to WR 478 in R1 in week 1 and getting thrashed 0 & 1 by WR 332 in R2 last week, so with luck that means she's there for the taking, though she has beaten WR 484 and WR 466 so far this week.

Ah, pity to lose for a second tournament in a row to a higher ranked seed in 3 sets after very clear R1 and R2 wins, this time after a really good R2 win against the no 3 seed.
Definite signs that things coming together more for Amanda.
Better from Mandy this week. Appears to be approaching the form of May last year but not there yet. Will be interesting to see how she gets on at Jersey next week on an indoor hard court. I suspect she might find it quite difficult.
