Good to see Morgan back to having a go at challengers and hopefully he can go and qualify here, but the draw isn't exactly that nice with him having to beat a few good players to make the main draw.

Morgan lost the 1st set 6-1, got an early break in the 2nd but has just been broken back.

It's this week's generic Challenger live scores link - you just need to switch to Tangiers from the select another event button at the top right of the scoreboard.

Nevermind, I realised that just now. Sigh. Looks like somebody lost. How in the heck...?!?!?! Wasn't that match meant to be a pushover?

Well it was his opponent's first match on red clay since he beat players from Ghana, Mauritius and the Ivory Coast on it in the Davis Cup EAZ GIII event in 2007, so you'd have thought ...

Meanwhile, Morgan has deuce on Goffin's serve at 4-4 in the 2nd.

Morgan didn't manage to break then got broken himself to lose 1 & 4. He only got 53% of his 1st serves in and lost 70% of the points when he didn't! cry

Ironically in the Eaton match I was looking at a first serve percentage of something like 72%, which is pretty damn decent and laudable. But sadly there's a big difference between a high serve percentage and then points won on first serve, and there was a big discrepancy there, so basically the high serve percentage wasn't helping much.

Action was supposed to get underway at 11am today, our time, but nothing's come up on Live Scores...

Can anyone confirm what's going on? I thought it might be due to it being played on clay and I checked the weather reports for Tangiers - it's heavy rain right now and due to be heavy rain all through the week up to Saturday at the earliest. Is the rain indeed the reason for the non-appearance of matches here?
