I didn't expect Slabba to win this, especially by that scoreline, after last weeks anhilation, because Strode has reached his ranking on a limited schedule of tournaments including a win over Vince Spadea in his last event (although that's not especially hard these days, to be fair).
Hopefully a sign he is getting back to his best after his lay-off and he will show that by beating El Midhawy in the next round.
actually i thought the same thing till i saw him at Queen's...unlike Goodall he can actually hit a backhand, unlike Evans he can hit a serve...still not ever likely to go beyond 200 though
