a chance for Chris to get some points here you'd hope as i guess a lot of players will have opted for Salzburg (which has recently been downgraded for E85k to E64K so the points will be less).
lets hope he remembers to get a visa!

Cut is currently at 581 (with two SE's to clear, which would take the cut to 701), and there are only 9 alternates, of which three only have a doubles ranking.
Top seed is 225 and there are only three top 300 players, while 361 would be seeded, so it is safe to say that is one of the weakest events of the year (although Russia is November is a very strange place to have a challenger)
Great spot by Eaton for this event and hopefully he can take his chance and get a win or two here as he is definately capable of doing so given who is in this event.
Not too sure who is going to bother to turn up for qualifying but there will be three easy points on offer for anyone who is brave enough to try it.
Hoping for a good run from Eaton in the last couple of tournaments, he hasnt done himself justice at all this year after his fame at Wimbledon in 08. But all he has done on the singles court this year that shines is really only his won over Rajeev Ram and his Davis Cup earlier in the year, which he did very well in.
He has become a force on the doubles court this year it seems having made quite a jump up the rankings (about 150 places to around 240) taking 6 futures titles along the way and also the run he had with Slabba seeing them reach the 2nd round after qualifying.
With his style of attacking he could end up a very skilled doubles player in the future.
With 2 Czech Republic Futures and this Challenger coming up for him, you'd like him to wrap up some points as they're all being played on indoor carpet so i would presume he would relish in the faster conditions.
I can see him having some more doubles success here and hopefully find a bit of singles form to end the year on a high. The challenger he has chosen this week could be a great chance of some big points.
