Dunno whether any of our singles boys will be attempting to qualify for this tournament, but it's very definitely next on the Flemski schedule (see Colin's web site) &, given that they, as a pair, have just risen 139 places to 53rd in the rankings, I imagine they stand a reasonable chance of being seeded! Pity I'm on holiday from next Tuesday morning... /
Will be interesting to see if any brits turn up in qualifying- there arent any on the alternates list except for Boggo and Fleming. It would be good if the draw was weak enough for a couple of brits because this is the best challenger of the year and it would be good for them to start having a go at these bigger challenger, ATP quals- near the end of the year.
Players like Eaton, Evans, Ward, Goodall need to start mixing up the big tournaments up more into their schedule, or they will never get anywhere it seems.
I dont know if the courts there are fast, would be good if they were and help Colin and Chris.
Ascione the 3rd seed here, once got quite high in the rankings but has droppped quite a bit since then. He does tend to favour slower surfaces like clay. He did do well at Metz last week though. If the courts are fast and Eaton feels like mixing it with the big lads this week he has a good chance.
Colin has the 6th seed Desein who i remeber Josh beat in a close match last year but he has improved his ranking a lot since then.
Milton has to play very well to take Reister.
Jonny should come through against the WC.

Colin Fleming, Josh Milton, Chris Eaton and Jonny Marray have all turned up in qualifying and there are live scores!! GET IN
Good news, indeed, spud. However, couldn't resist the temptation to edit your two posts to correct the spelling of Niels Desein's surname. No hard feelings, I hope.
