Ken Skupski ( with Jamie Delgado ) reaches the Marseille ATP 250 semi finals, which is enough to sneak him back into the top 100 ( WR 100 from WR 109 )

Dom Inglot adds a much needed top 100 men's doubles player with his Nottingham Challenger title last week, rising 39 paces to WR 86 and GB rank 6. Aside from the fact it is a slightly oversubscribed GB category, still very well done to Dom

Back to 10 top 100ers and 8 of these are in men's doubles !
Bally drops out ( WR 91 to WR 101 ). Hopefully we will be getting one or two more added in again from women's singles soon though. Heather looking good if she can get through one round at Wimbledon.

After a very good week for the girls, the top 100ers jump to 15 ! ( 12 separate players with Andy, Heather and Anne counting both singles and doubles ).
New entrants / returners are Laura in WS after her tour SF ( WR 113 to WR 91 ), Heather in WD after her tour Premier title ( WR 108 to 81 ) and Anne in WD after her tour Premier QF ( WR 109 to WR 99 ).
With Anne WR 99 in WD and Bally WR 100 in WS and with just 2 players currently ranked from WR 101 to WR 200 ( James Ward in MS at WR 153 and Mel South in WD at WR 170 ), I think we can safely say 15 top 100ers is not going to be beaten for quite some time. But it is quite a step ( if possibly fairly temporary ) to reach that 15 total, most particularly having 4 women top 100 singles players.

As well as record top 100 players, I've noticed a lot of men joining the rankings and not many leaving. Does anyone have stats on the record number of ranked players?

According to this, it does look as if there has been about the same number of guys joining the rankings as leaving them this year :

If I remember right from updating that table and the new/off section of the GB top 25 table, there were more leavers than joiners in the first half of the year but that effect has been balanced by more ons than offs over the summer.

Having reached the top of the hill ( for the recent past ) at 15, we continue down, now to 11. Anne has fallen out of the singles top 100, dropping from WR 99 to WR 123.
