Tricky draws for both.

Amanmuradova reached a WTA final this week, Kvitova beat Safina at the US Open and also her opponent Parra-Santonja won the 100K+H event in France this week

Danilidou and Woehr have been ranked a lot higher too.

The precise 2 players who actually did so well last week to pass her in the rankings while she was winning Shrewsbury and going up 8 places herself and the no 1 seed    jawdrop.gif

I think bally can beat Akgul, she doesn't really do anything outside of Uzkekistan

Which given her position now inside the top 90, in spite of her recent WTA Uzbek  final which finally propelled her there, does tend to suggest that she has had the odd decent win beyond its boundaries.
