At last Jade avoids all the seeds in the first round

Jade has also entered the Doubles and teamed up again with Alvarez-Teran with who she won the title last week at Tsukuba this time they are not seeded and have drawn one of the 2 Qualifiers as yet unallocated

I think the Chinese girl is on the upgrade and her current ranking understates her current level of play.
