Huss and Hutchins re-unite having just managed to make the cut and will start against Lopez and Verdasco.

If they can win that match, they will face 4th seed Bhupathi and Knowles in round two.

Yikes!  disbelief They could hardly have imagined a tougher opener/second round! hmm That said, I guess they have to learn to live with the luck of a tough draw at this level.  Good luck, lads! pray.gif

The match has started with an early break for H&H. I'd like to think they could keep ahead in this set now. If they can get past the Spaniards, they do have the knowledge that they have beaten Bhupathi & Knowles earlier this year in Madrid.

There was a sign at 5-5 but H&H failed to convert a 30-40 scoreline, and have made a mess of the resulting tiebreak, going 5-0 down before losing it 7-2

Decent effort, but just cannot seem to get the win at the moment, and they seem to have lost quite a few MTB's by a convincing score.

Hopefully they can get a good draw next week in New Haven to get some confidence before the US Open.
