So that's where sheddie is at the moment ... he always did like that view of poor Emily disbelief

Seriously though, losing an average of half a game per set over two matches is pretty impressive even if the opposition hasn't been that hot yet! smile

Just to confirm

R2: Emily Webley-Smith WR (GBR) 1 beat Adnya Naik (IND) WC 6-0 6-0

Has their ever been an easier quarter than this? In Emily's section there were 4 qualifiers, a lucky loser, a wild card and the number 8 seed.

Qf: Emily Webley-Smith WR 310 v (Q) Rishika Sunkara (IND) UNR

Emily's opponent is 16.

In the doubles

QF: KOLESNICHENKO (UZB) / WEBLEY-SMITH (GBR) (2) beat GOUTHAM (IND) / PHADKE (IND) 6-2 6-2

SF: KOLESNICHENKO (UZB) / WEBLEY-SMITH (GBR) 2 vs LAKHANI (IND) / MALHOTRA (JPN)

Emily and Alexandra are the only seeds left in the doubles.

But not pleased with performance. Only lost 6 games in tourny so far. Is she trying to break the tournament record?

Decent effort this week from wobbers given her comeback from injury. On ranking she would have been favourite to win this week and the points for 10's are meagre but this will put her in a good mental state for the next few months when all her points from last year start to drop off. I suspect she would like to take December off this year.
