Fleming/Skupski vs. Brunstrom/Rojer (with the Bryans awaiting them in round two) Eaton/Slabinsky vs. Granollers/Ventura (with Fisher/De Voest in round two - although Granollers/Ventura reached the last 8 last year) Boggo/Ward vs. Kohlmann/Waske (16) Huss/Hutchins vs. Quereshi/Amritraj (Bhupathi and Knowles in round three) Auckland/Goodall vs. (9) Moodie/Norman Erlich/Murray vs. (8) Kubot/Marach Delgado/Marray vs. Devilder/Rochus (Cermak/Mertinak in round two)
Not the worst draws for the Brits. Flemski, H + H and D + M should all get through round one fairly easily although it gets tougher after that. E + S have a chance but it will be a tough match for them. Not looking so good for the other pairs though, although I'd back one of them to come through.
Draw is out and it's a lot better than the singles one for the Brits:
(WC) Colin Fleming & Ken Skupski v Johan Brunstorm & Jean-Julien Rojer (SWE/AHO) (Q) Chris Eaton & Alexander Slabinsky v Marcel Granollers & Santiago Ventura (ESP) (WC) Alex Bogdanovic & James Ward v Michael Kohlmann & Alexander Waske (GER) (16) Ross Hutchins & Stephen Huss (AUS) v (Q) Prakash Amritraj & Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi (IND/PAK) (WC) James Auckland & Joshua Goodall v (9) Wesley Moodie & Dick Norman (RSA/BEL) Jamie Murray & Jonathan Erlich (ISR) v (8) Lukasz Kubot & Oliver Marach (POL/AUT) (WC) Jamie Delgado & Jonathan Marray v Nicolas Devilder & Christophe Rochus (FRA/BEL)
I wouldn't be too confident about H&H, their opponents are very good on a grass court and have come through qualifying and in the form H&H are in it's by no means a banker.
Flemski, Eaton/Slabba and Delgo/Marray should all come through their matches while it's not the worst draw in the world for Murray/Erlich.
I can't see Boggo & Ward and a horrible draw for Aucks & Goodall who play two players with massive serves who have reached the final in Roland Garros and the final in Holland this month as well as Moodie winning Queens and also being a past champion of Wimbledon.
Brunstrom/Rojer reached the final in Rosmalen this week, so they may not be as easy a set of opponents for Flemski as we had first hoped they would be.
4-2 down at the change of ends having lost all 3 points on serve in the TB...need to fight hard as going two sets down would be tough to come back from.
