Would love that to be true , as Eaton could refill the huge points coming off from Wimbledon with a good performance here at a big grass event. These naff courts here ive heard really suit Chris's style, so who knows. I mean Prakash got to the final here last year serve volleying for the majority. I really went onto wish Chris had played it having seen the final of Amritraj, as Eaton is the better serve volleyer out of the two.
Would like to see Josh here of course, his attacking game is one of my fave's out of the Brits after Chris :). He has the grass court pedigree and builds up points well on grass with his massive serve and forehand. His backhand slice is also useful on the surface. The prob with Josh is definetly returning, especially on lightning courts like grass. Against Ljubicic and Muller, really couldnt see him breaking, but they are world class servers, so has an excuse, but maybe just try and give these servers one more shot to hit is a good point to work on for him.

dont think boggo is going to newport. as spud says the courts are so bad its a joke. i think he may stay in Europe after wimby.

Fleming and Skupski are 7th alternates for Newport.

Going to be touch and go as to whether or not they make the cut but I'd hazard a guess that they may just miss out.

May be worth going out there and having a go anyway as they should both make the singles qualies cut if they signed in.

No idea why Evo isn't down for Felixstowe, he has Futures points coming off soon AND surely he would want some matches ahead of Manchester?

Leo Mayer got a Davis Cup call up, so cut at Newport is down to 140 now.
