Wow, really tough draws.

Amanda, Naomi C and EWS would be my top 3.

Naomi B and Amanda could face each other if they both win a round...

Cav's got a chance, Emily could spring a win, Not sure about Jade. Sesil's fairly hit and miss but as much as I want her to win (especially after the Amanda Janes match and the druggy saga) I'm skeptical right now.

Naomi B may come up trumps. Never know! Liz and Amanda I fear could struggle.

Lepchenko is a good draw too tbh, shes not won a grass court match I dont think. georgie beat her last year on hard, doesnt really say much though.

Mel beat her at Eastbourne of course... If Liz brings that grass court play like the match she had against Harkleroad then there's no denying she could challenge.

Elliott and Silva played last year in Fes qualies, which is grass, and Elliott pushed her to 3. With both on grass it could be a different matter, though Silva won Felixstowe crushing 5 Brits on root, including Naomi B and Tara in straights.

I can't find any evidence of Diatchenko ever playing a match on grass at senior or junior level. That fact alone should make Naomi Broady the favourite.

The schedule is currently missing court 16, so expect them both to be on there:

Liz 4th on 13
Naomi B 1st on 14
Emily 2nd on 14
Amanda 1st on 15

As Kundalini says Naomi B should see this as a real opportunity playing someone who is highly ranked, but with no relevant experience on grass. Fujiwara has a fine record on grass, thumping Naomi B en route to qualifying last year, and a previous winner of Surbiton. I would make the winner of her match with Cav favourite to qualify from that section.
