Takes place from Tuesday to Thursday - http://www.lta.org.uk/Global/Downloads/Results/2009/Wimbledon%20Wild%20Card%20Play%20Offs/Mens%20singles%20.pdf
(1) Jonathan Marray WR 396 v (WC) James Marsalek WR 1693 (WC) Ashley Watling WR 1375 v Daniel Smethirst WR 845 (3) Joshua Milton WR 691 v (WC) Jack Carpenter WR 1878 (WC) Neil Pauffley WR 1354 v (WC) Tom Farquharson Alexander Ward WR 1010 v Sean Thornley WR 838 Edward Seator WR 1067 v (4) Burnham Arlidge WR 808 David Rice WR 880 v Marcus Willis WR 826 James Feaver WR 812 v (2) Colin Fleming WR 494
Johnny v Josh in the top half, Colin and possibly Alex Ward in the bottom? Dunno why I pegged Alex (considering it's grass and I have no idea of his pedigree on the surface...)
seems harsh of the LTA to be 'setting' Flembo up like this. By giving him a WC into Queens doubles which he is on the OOP to play later today you would think they would have supported him with a Qualies WC for Wimbledon.
Anyway Marray & Fleming should come through this. Will eb interesting to see the mess they make of the Eastbourne WC's for next week with Wimbledon Qualies on at the same time.
I seem to remember last year that not only did the 2 finalists get a QWC but so did the losing semi-finalists. Does anyone have a feel for whether that may happen again this year
Now thinking about it I'm sure that Chris Eaton was one of the losing semi finalists last year
