Week 23 Futures - Tunisia F2 ($10K) - Sfax

Myles Blake may be seeded here and Maniel Bains is also a DA.

L32: (7) Myles Blake WR 770 v (Q) Karim Sallemi (TUN) UNR

This is 14-year-old (!) Sallemi's first senior tournament, but he did manage to beat an unranked Frenchman convincingly in qualifying. His singles record in ITF junior events is 0-2, including a 2 & 3 loss to a Brit, Joab Wayne, at the same venue. Blake should prove to be Myles better!

L32: Maniel Bains WR v (5) Malek Jaziri (TUN) WR 568

Former top 300 player Jaziri, who lists his interests as "tennis travel and girls!" (well at least he's honest!) has reached the Finals of three Futures in the last month and has beaten Sen Thornley and shocked Slabba on the way to those Finals.

L16: Myles BLAKE (GBR) (7) WR 770 v Jerome INZERILLO (FRA) WR 1102

Hopefully Myles will be too strong for a guy who conceded four games to Robert Dee in February.

Inzerillo used to hunt British juniors with Piro for kicks.

One break in each set is no disgrace

No disgrace but Inzerillo has hardly been setting the Futures circuit on fire this season. Myles should still have had a strong chance of winning.

And 6-3 6-3 means there must have been two breaks in one of the sets.
