Qualies draw now out: http://www.lta.org.uk/Global/Downloads/Results/2009/AEGON%20British%20Tennis%20Series/AEGON%20Classic%20-%20Edgbaston/Womens%20singles%20qualifying%20draw.pdf
4 M. Krajicek (128) v WC J. Rae 5 M. Larcher de Brito (132) v WC N. Khan 10 C. Scheepers (149) v T. Moore 6 C. Gullickson (136) v A. Elliott 7 S. Arvidsson (143) v WC J. Curtis 16 M. Yuan (187) v N. Broady 8 A. Rodionova (144) v WC S. Borwell
Naomi C has a MD WC along with the top 5; whereabouts Anna Smith has ended up I don't know - bit annoyed at Sarah for taking up a WC to be honest. Unfortunately Khan/Moore and Curtis/Broady are in the same sections, but the chances of Natasha beating Michelle are so vanishingly small that that's probably not an issue.
Would be hopeful of a win from Naomi B, and will be interested to see how Joss does in her unfortunate rematch. Pretty tough calls for the other girls - hope Jade and Tara can step up to the task.
OOP now also available on the LTA tournament site: http://www.lta.org.uk/Watch/AEGON-British-Tennis-Series/AEGON-Classic/
Broady, Curtis and Elliott all first up at 11 tomorrow.

Joss v Kraijeck again, how unlucky can the girl be! I totally agree with questioning the motives behind Sarah's WC, and tbh, Khan doesnt deserve one in my book.
Its awesome to see so many Brits tho, especially those without WCs. I just wish Rae had got a better draw! I can see Broady or Curtis managing to qualify - I think one of them should. Perhaps another shock qualifier isnt totally out of the question - Tara should be high on confidence and perhaps cud do it. Not a bad draw IMO.
Apologies, I assumed all were WCs for some reason - amended now. I'm a bit baffled though as to how Tara got a direct acceptance and Jade didn't - I guess that means she didn't enter? Jade hasn't been below Tara for ages, has she?
Main draw now out too: http://www.lta.org.uk/Global/Downloads/Results/2009/AEGON%20British%20Tennis%20Series/AEGON%20Classic%20-%20Edgbaston/Womens%20singles%20main%20draw.pdf
M. South v WC K. O'Brien A. Keothavong v S. Arvidsson (??) WC G.Stoop v WC E. Baltacha J. Ditty v WC N. Cavaday
So that's rather unfortunate, though I suppose at least some of the girls are guaranteed points. I don't understand how Arvidsson comes to be in the MD, as she's down to play Jade today, and is not a top seed in qualies so surely hasn't been moved to MD on that basis. Bit of a mystery...are there two Sofia Arvidssons?
Mel to face Zheng (1) in R2- pretty damning for her chances of reaching the QF again, which will be bad news for her ranking. Anne more fortunate - Mirza or a Qualifier in R2 then Bally or Pavlyuchenkova.

Sofia Arvidsson would have been the next into the main draw based on April 27 rankings - but has subsequently slipped. Hence someone has withdrawn overnight since the publication of the qualifying draw and Sofia has been promoted, with Jade playing either a 17th seed or an alternate. If a 17th seed has moved to Arvidsson's position then their place will be taken by an alternate (who could be British)
