Just to pick up the discussion from the entries thread, several of us will make the trip to south west (not that SW tho) London for the Queens Qualies. Entry is £5 with a limit of 500 people. the weather forecast looks a little better than it did initaliy. Doors open at 10am (often play is alreayd under way people they allow spectatprs in)and nearets tube is Barons Ct.
Would expct there to be at least 5 brits in action, and if you win you normally play twice on the day so there is plenty of matches to keep your attention.
So far it seems that myself, Josh and FD are planning on heading over, anyone else?

Still, given that some ranked non brits turned up for once and the draw was unspeakably different to the last few years not sure how enjoyable it would have been
yes the day was a bit of a washout in all senses. with Alex, well all the brits, losing early and the play looking like it was going to be confined indoors all day i left pretty early, but i'm glad FD and josh could make some use of the passes and got to see some tennis later.

Spoke to a blazered Steward at the gate at 10.30 who said they had started indoors with absolutelyno spectators allowed and there was no chance of play whatsoever outside even if the drizzle stopped immediately so I'm quite annoyed now.
i dont think they did have any play outside, and its true there were no spectators allowed in. the only reason i got in is cause i'd blagged a couple of players guest passes from boggo.

I'm bearing a grudge about the weather. Sat sweltering in my tent every day of the previous week. Woke up on Saturday to the most pathetic of dribbles that I just knew was gonna spoil the best day of my years.
