Bally should win her first 2 matches Katie should win her first Georgie is anyones guess, though I believe she has injury worries of late. I dont expect much..
I think its a good draw all in all. I wouldnt be shocked to see Katie and Bally both in FQR with hopefully one to join Mel and Anne in the MD. That would surely be the best showing for a long time

No complaints about the draws. Katie had an embarrassing defeat against a French WC 2 years ago, but last year's win, combined with improved form and a strong diet of clay court tournaments last year should stand her in good stead.
Bally has an awful record here (4 defeats) and has not prepared this year on clay. Hopefully she can break her duck, given a favourable draw here, but I wouldn't bet on it.
Martic is potentially very good, and has already won a 75k event on clay, but she hasn't been winning recently and has yet to register a win in a Grand Slam qualifier, so there is certainly hope for Georgie on her weakest surface.
The nice thing about women's slam qualifying from the point of view of those in it is that you get a shedload of points just for winning qr1 - 40 c.f. 8 for the men. Surely Katie's got an outside chance of qualifying?
