That was a good result in the singles. OK, Cavaday would have been favourite but 2 and 1 is a good scoreline. Hopefully this means that Naomi is approaching form - if so you've got to be thinking that the next match will be pretty even.
Great to see, and a big points boost - a final here would put her on the verge of the top 300 again I believe - which is most definitely where she belongs. No evidence here of burnout or fitness issues either!
Great win! Love to see her back to where she was before all the injuries. Will always remember her coming close to beating Hingis at Wimbledon 2007. Good to see her fighting.
Excellent. It's impossible to say this early on whether the real Naomi Cavaday is back but it's looking good. If she is back to form there is no-one left in the draw who would be favourite against her.
Enjoying the success of the women this week and especially pleased to see Naomi winning successive games. Well done and keep it going. Would love to see you in the main draw at Wimbledon.
A bit sad, just when we thought she might win the title this week. Still, reaching two 25K QFs in two week is helping her ranking and she's likely to be back up to GB no. 7 and into the top 350 by Monday, with this week's wins taking her closer to 300 at the end of RG.
